Strip Markdown going through Facebook Messenger

The default markdown looks great when a user is accessing the bot through a website. However, if that same bot is being accessed via Facebook Messenger, the markdown is not as attractive and may be confusing.

It seems like it would be easy to strip it from Messenger.
