One of ChatGPT 4o's most powerful tools on OpenAI is using the paper clip to upload documents for ChatGPT to construct its answers to user prompts. Other competing platforms, such as Poe.com, use the [+] symbol in a circle to do the same thing.
This provides the user the capability to temporarily store the information in the knowledge base for the creation of some sort of product, i.e., a summary of the uploaded document, an evaluation of the uploaded document, the creation of blogs, articles, presentations, emails, and/or courses from the uploaded document, etc.
It's one of the most requested features by the individuals we demonstrate our chatbots to, and we have to explain that we can upload those documents for them. That imposes a delay in their minds, making our chatbot less desirable.
This feature alone would allow us to create additional use cases for our chatbots and make ours even more desirable than competing chatbots.
